Prof. Dr. EZZAT Samy Aziz, MBBCh, MD, FRCA, FCARCSI, MSc, DA(UK)
Professor Ezzat Samy Aziz is a Professor of Anaesthesia in Cairo University in Egypt and also a part time Consultant Anaesthetist in the Royal Chesterfield hospital in the UK with an interest in regional, ophthalmic, orthopaedic anaesthesia
He lectured in several national and internationalcongresses as the 1 st World Congress of Ophthalmic Anaesthesia in London, April 2004. He was the organizing secretary of 2 nd World Congress of Ophthalmic Anaesthesia, Cairo April 2008
He has lectured and conducted workshops on topics related to ophthalmic anaesthesia in different parts of the world including many prestigious organisations such as World Congress of Anaesthesiologists (2004, 2008 and 2012), OAS (2006 ). He has published numerous publications and review articles in peer-reviewed journals
Dr Aziz has a lot of interest in educating and training of trainee anaesthetists both in Egypt and the UK. Dr Aziz has founded the Africa society of regional anaesthesia (AFSRA) in 2010. Currently he is currently the president of the society. He has been elected to be the president and convener of the 4 th world congress of regional anaesthesia that will be held in Cape Town in November 2014.

Prof. Dr. Amany Ezzat Ayad, MD,FIPP
A professor of anesthesia and pain management, Cairo University. Consultant of anesthesia and pain management and head of the Pain Management in Dar Al Fouad Hospital, Egypt. She have over 18 publications in the Egyptian Journal of Anesthesia, Pain Practice Journal and Journal of International Medical Research and Pain Medicine Journal.
She has contributed a chapter in the JHACO book; Approaches to pain Management, an essential guide for clinical leaders. PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP ; Founder and board member African Society of Regional Anesthesia (AFSRA) Since April 2011 She was elected twice as the secretary of the Middle East Chapter of the World Institute of Pain(WIP).
Member of the Egyptian Society of Anesthesiologists. founder and member of the Egyptian Society of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Anesthesia. member of the Egyptian Society of Pain Management. member and fellow of the World Institute of Pain. member of the International Association for the Study of Pain.

Dr.Nesrine El-refai. Professor of Anaesthesia -CAIRO University. Member of Obstetric Anesthesia Committee of World Federation Society of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA) and Pan Arab Society of Anaesthesiologists (PAFSA).

-Member faculty of airway and regional anaesthesia courses in the UK and Egypt , START course by royal college of surgeons , plus regional anaesthesia and block club teaching director in the trust.
-Dr Mohamed has been trained in Egypt in anaesthesia , ICU and pain management in Benha University hospitals with pursuing his master and MD degrees from 2004 -2015 filling the academic roles as demonstrator , assistant lecturer and lecturer. Also he completed His full international UK Training.
-Dr Mohamed has his special interest in teaching and education in field of regional anaesthesia and acute pain. He has been successful in promoting the practice in both hospitals he worked for . He is conducing two regional anaesthesia courses every year in Egypt and the UK ,plus the regular teaching opportunities he offers for trainees and novice doctors.
-Dr mohamed has quite number of publications in peer reviewed journals and international conferences plus a book “VIVA cases in regional anaesthesia “ in the press now .
-Author of two guidelines : Rib fracture guideline and Continuous nerve block catheter.
