AFSRA was well represented in the world congress of regional anesthesia in Paris
The society is still growing, and has now established a strong track record through being a main limb in the world organisations of regional anesthesia .We continue to educate Professionals, officials and organisations regarding our area of expertise, we must take ownership of our speciality, promote well developed research and continue to expand our mission in the public and professional arena.
Challenges and barriers of regional anesthesia practice in Africa was discussed in details in congress by Dr Mohamed Mohamed from Egypt , Dr Sonia Lalla from Kenya , Dr Mour Traore from Senegal and Dr Suleiman Must from Liberia
Also scientific topics in acute pain and chronic pain were demonstrated by Dr Afak Nsiri from Morocco ,and Dr Ezzat Aziz from Egypt.
