Regional Anesthesia Public Workshop, Monday, September 18, 2017

Summary:

The Food and Drug Administration is announcing a public workshop entitled Regional Anesthesia.”  The goal of the workshop is to provide a forum to discuss the current state of knowledge regarding peripheral nerve blockage.  Discussion will focus on the use of technology to facilitate performance of nerve blocks, therapeutic targets for peripheral nerve blockade, dose and duration of commonly used local anesthetics, use of adjuvant medications and continuous infusions via peripheral nerve catheters.

Time: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Location: Marriot Residence Inn Bethesda Downtown, 7335 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, MD 20814
